Camp Halloween (2022)

Howdy Brothers,

The season is getting a bit spooky and it’s time for Camp Halloween!

Camp Halloween is a weekend program hosted at Camp Edward that is open for OA volunteers. The event will be a weekend day camp with two scout sessions per weekend. There we will have different areas opened up like: the Haunted House, archery, crafts, and more. As OA volunteers we will be expected to help out with these events and continue to live a life of cheerful service.

The schedule of the events will go as follows:

Each weekend, we’ll ask that you report after dinner on Friday, if possible.  Early (8:00AM) Saturday is also OK.  There will be different groups of campers each Saturday and Sunday.  This gives us a total of eight 1-day sessions this year!  We’ll dismiss staff about 5PM on Sunday each weekend, with the exception of the last weekend, where dismissal will be closer to 7PM, to give us time to put things away and clean up.

The weekends for sign up are:

Sept. 30 – Oct 2:               Program Weekend #1
Oct 7-9:                               Program Weekend #2
Oct 14-16:                           Program Weekend #3
Oct 21-23:                           Program Weekend #4 (Same weekend as Fall Rally)

You must sign-up using our sign-up form to attend any specific week. We require that sign-ups be mandatory at latest the Tuesday before the specific program weekend as we are using these numbers for food portioning. If you show up without having previously signed up you will be turned away.
