Hey Brothers!

Ever wondered why a totem pole exists? Ever think about why Native Americans wear blankets? Are you just interested in Native American culture in general?

If you answered yes€ to any of these questions, we encourage you to attend a Native American Potlatch hosted by T'Kope Kwiskwis. The dates are the same as our Ordeals in April, May, & June. We are proud of the culture that is vibrant in our area and would love to show what we know, so come on down, during the April, May, or June Ordeals to come see.

If you're unable to make the Potlatches but are still interested, please contact the T'€™Kope Kwiskwis Ceremonies team at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it

We hope to see you soon!

Hey guys, this is your Lodge Vice Chief of Activities, Alexander B. I have the distinct pleasure this year of serving as a full time staffer at Camp Sheppard this winter, and I have to say it's been an absolute blast. We are running a great program this year, from all of the merit badges we offer to the super cool Ninja Course we have, and of course our amazing tubing hills. I encourage you all to sign your troop up to come next winter, and if you are interested in staffing, we still have a couple of weekends left to come up and help, and of course, staff applications are always available for next weekend. If you do want to come up, please let Reidar Kelstrup, our Lodge Vice Chief of Service( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it ) or your Chapter Chief know so we know to expect you. I hope to see you all next season!

We Are Still A Lodge!
Tuesday, 24 January 2017 14:09

second try

It'€™s official! The Lodge still exists! At the January Lodge Officer'ƒ€™s Meeting Lodge Chief Murphy Bush presented the certificate stating not only are we chartered, but also, because of our thousands of hours of service to the council, our careful budgeting, and our numerous members, we received Bronze level for Journey to Excellence, meaning we are eligible to apply for and receive service grants, allowing for even more cheerful service down the road.

Thank you to everyone who made it possible by paying your dues, giving cheerful service, and helping to induct new members into our great lodge. We couldn't have done it without you.

Totem Pole Service Project
Sunday, 08 January 2017 16:20

On December 31st, members from our lodge braved the frigid morning to travel to our Longhouse to begin the work of restoring several of our lodge totem poles. Through the decades these totem poles have been battered by the pacific northwest weather and will require months of work to restore back to their original state. They’ll be stored in the canoe shed so next time you’re visiting the longhouse for an OA event, go check them out! Otherwise, big thank you to everyone who came that weekend and gave service.Pole1 Pole2

Annual Recognition Banquet
Tuesday, 08 November 2016 13:25

On a dark and stormy night in October over 100 Arrowmen, family and friends gathered at the Annual Order of the Arrow Recognition Banquet.

Trent A., 2015-16 Lodge Chief, inducted the new officers and was thanked by Torin Bergsma for his service. Nathan Lee, the stand in Keynote Speaker, gave an inspirational speech on his life as an Arrowman. After inductions and service recognition by the respective vice-chiefs the 2016 Vigil Honor class was recognized.

Then the moment when we tried to guess who was being described as the James E. West Fellowship and the Founder’s Awards were presented.

Please join me in congratulating:

Austin Springman – James E. West Fellowship Award
Nathan Lee and Bob Meneghini – Founders Award

The Founder's Award was created in 1981 by the National Order of the Arrow Committee to honor and recognize those Arrowmen who have given outstanding service to their lodge. The award is reserved for an Arrowman who demonstrates to his fellow Arrowmen that he memorializes in his everyday life the spirit of achievement as described by OA's founders E. Urner Goodman and Carroll A. Edson.

While the Vigil Honor is a high mark of distinction, the Founders Award is used to recognize those Arrowmen, youth and adult, who have impacted the Lodge in a positive and lasting way. This is a rare and distinguished honor, to recognize the spirit of our Founders in another.

Fall Rally THIS Weekend!!
Tuesday, 08 November 2016 12:28

Brothers!

conclave2010a001If you are looking to get trained in conducting Unit Elections (which you need if you want to host Unit Elections for Troops) or get your Brotherhood Honor, you should look at coming down to Fall Rally!

On Friday, November 11th, Fall Rally is hosting both Unit Elections Training and a Brotherhood Ceremony for all those Arrowmen looking to get either or both done! They will be hosted in the Camp Pigott Dining Hall, so arrive by 7:30 pm for the Unit Elections Training, and by 9 pm for the Brotherhood Ceremony.

And for all you folks across the water who can't make 7:30 for the Unit Elections Training, don't worry! We have another one Saturday morning to make sure that you get trained!

You don't need to be registered to take either the training, or participate in the Brotherhood Ceremony. Both are open to drop-ins. Register online if you plan to enjoy the other joys of Fall Rally!

Looking forward to seeing you all there!
