This is your Inductions Vice Chief speaking. I am talking you today to offer you a special opportunity to help the T’Kope Kwiskwis Lodge. What is this opportunity, you ask? To become a Brotherhood Ceremonialist.
Any youth member of the T’Kope Kwiskwis Lodge who holds the honor of Brotherhood or Vigil is eligible to become a Brotherhood Ceremonialist. Currently, the Lodge is strapped for Brotherhood Ceremonialists, and desperately needs more. We have right now only one Ceremonialist for the Nutiket principle, and one Ceremonialist for the Meteu principle to serve the entire Lodge! While the Ceremonialists who can perform these roles love serving the Lodge, it makes it difficult for them to perform Brotherhood Ceremonies outside of official Lodge-wide events.
If you, or any fellow arrowman you know is looking to help the Lodge, this is one of the greatest services that you could ever provide. This not only helps the Lodge earn the JTE award (which gives us funding from the National Committee to help us improve the camps of the Chief Seattle Council), but also makes a personal impact on the lives of every arrowman who goes through the Ceremony. There is no greater honor than the honor of serving your brothers. So please, I encourage you, give Ceremonies a try and become a Brotherhood Ceremonialist today.
Yours in Scouting,
Jacob H. Thornton
